BJP has destroyed every party that it has allied with

BJP follows the 'Embrace and Destroy' method.

It allied with the Akali Dal, today Akali Dal lies in tatters.

It allied with BJD in Odisha, the result is that BJP rules Odisha and won all the Lok Sabha seats from there.

It allied with JD(U) and see Nitish Kumar has been cut to size.

It allied with PDP in Kashmir, PDP returned with just 3 seats.

It allied with Shiv Sena and tried to destroy it. When it could not destroy it, as Uddhav Thackeray stood his ground, they split the party using ED and CBI threats.

In the 2019 elections, BJP and Shiv Sena fought the Maharashtra Elections together.

Before the election, Shiv Sena was told that they will get a CM for 2.5 years and BJP would get for 2.5 years.

This was promised to Uddhav Thackeray before the elections by none other than Amit Shah.

After BJP managed to get 105 seats and Shiv Sena got 56, out of a total of 288 seats, the alliance had crossed the majority mark of 144 and was all set to form the government.

The only question that remained is who will rule first, BJP or Shiv Sena? Shiv Sena was ready for either the first 2.5 years or the second 2.5 years.

But BJP went back on its promise of giving half the term to Shiv Sena.

Mind you, at that point of time, Uddhav Thackeray was not even an MLA and not in the race to become the CM.

Actually, he later revealed that he would have put Eknath Shinde as the CM candidate, had BJP agreed to the prearranged formula.

But BJP was worried, if it gave Shiv Sena the first 2.5 years and they gave a spectacular governance, then BJP would be in the soup, and if the gave the later 2.5 years, that would put Shiv Sena in the pole position before elections.

So, Amit Shah decided not to honor his promise and did not even come to Mumbai after the elections.

As there was no one party in a position to form the government, the state was placed under President's Rule.

Then we saw the drama of Devendra Fadnavis taking oath as CM and Ajit Pawar as Deputy CM one day at 5 a.m.

This was the same Ajit Pawar that Devendra Fadnavis had said, would be arrested and sent to jail, where he would 'Chakki Peesing aur Peesing aur Peesing'!

That arrangement did not last for even three days.

The result was Devendra Fadnavis had to cut a sorry figure and Ajit Pawar walked away with a 'clean-chit'.

After that, NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena came together to form the MVA and Uddhav Thackeray was asked to become the CM.

When he became the CM, Uddhav Thackeray did not attend the assembly as he was not yet a member of the assembly.

It was later that he got elected as an MLA and only then did he start attending the assembly.

30 months later, Devendra Fadnavis split the Shiv Sena and took away 40 MLA's under the threat of ED/CBI arrests and formed the Maha Yuti Government.

This Government was declared illegal by the SC but it did not pull down the government. One of the blots on the tenure of CJI DY Chandrachaud.

Uddhav Thackeray has time and again warned about BJP attempt to destroy Shiv Sena and they almost succeeded.

In 2024, given the BJP's poor performance in General Elections, it is estimated that BJP's numbers will fall to 50-55 from the 105.

The Adani factor, the taking away of projects to Gujarat just before the Gujarat Elections and the collapse of a statue of Shivaji are all things that weight heavily on BJP.

BJP's plan of destroying Shiv Sena failed. It will lead to surprising results in the upcoming Maharashtra Elections.
