One Billion US Dollar is 8300 Crores (at an exchange rate of 83 per US Dollar). According to this report published in Business Standard, the rich have taken 235 Billion out just to Singapore and Hong Kong.
That is 19,50,500 Crores.
This is more than the money that was demonetized on 8th November 2016. Total Currency (500/1000) Notes demonetized was 15.98 Lakh Crores.
It is usually said that it is the rats are first to come to know that th e ship is sinking and therefore, they are the first to abandon ship.
The rich, having made their fortunes here in India are not sticking around.
And then there are idiot NRI's who are still sending money and investing in India, all thanks to Modi's road shows.
